Cannot see either DNS 343 or DNS 323 with Easy_Search

Have both DNS 343 and 323 on network, both have static IP addresses.  I can see them on my laptop in the network directory, and I can access all the files.  However, the Easy_Search utility does not show them, so I cannot do any configuring (i.e. set up one as an iTunes server)... The utility worked a month or so ago.  Only thing we did was replace the incoming cable modem to a newer, faster model, but that is upstream of the router and these raid boxes.  Any ideas?  I rebooted both the DNS 343 and 323.  Still cannot see them using the utility.  I also downloaded latest Easy Search (ver 4.5) and installed it.  Still no luck.
