i have the DWA-552 card updated atheros drivers (9.1.0.100), running firmware 1.34 on the router, 20/40 set, only n mode and aes encryption. im running win 7 32 bit.

heres my status:

I posed this a few days ago in the DWA-522 forum and didnt get any responses, i hope the double post is ok.

Try all channels for the best connection. Possibly other AP's in the neighbourhood also use your current channel.

Chosse a channel manually and do this with all channels. See which one is best.

I had the time, so I experimented around and when through the Channels. Channel 11 gave me 240-270 Mbps range and the others were slower.

But like I said, one needs to experiment around with the available Channels, then monitor the speed from the Router, under http://192.168.0.1/Status/Wireless.shtml.
