I've got a DIR-655, but the wireless range is not good enough for my house.
I've bought a DIR-855 to use in addition to the DIR-655..
I've also got a DAP-1522 (connected wireless), but the speed of this is very low.. 1 Mb/s .
Is this because it's "almost out of range"?
The wireless (655 and/or 1522) does not cover the entire house..
I've used a CAT5 to the other side of the house, and has a DGS-1005D switch there. But no wireless..
Can I connect the DIR-855 (or the DIR-655) to this cat5, and use the DIR-855 as a switch, with wireless capabilities?
I'd like to use the DIR-855 there, for displaying the connection, speed a.s.o.
The alternative is to use the "old 655" there.. but why should I do so?
Any reason to put the 855 first in line?
Anyone with a "network for Dummies" explanation for me ?
