Hi routernoob1,

Request a RMA for the unit.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what an RMA is. :-\

You need to call D-Link Support, to start the ball rolling.

Is my router defective? I might have not worded it properly then. When I play on my PS3 or occasionally download an update, I have to reboot the router to get the true speed. If I dont reboot it, the speed isn't very fast as compared to using the PC with a wired connection. Would I still need RMA on it?

Hi routernoob1,

What do you mean by True Speed? Often, when I download something off the Internet it is to a crawl. But I simply cancel the download and start it back up again and the speed is just fine.

This tells me the problem isn't with the Router, but simply the Internet itself, or that site.

Have you canceled a download and try again about 2 minutes to 10 minutes later, without doing anything to your Router?

Don't assume the problem resides in the Router, it can just be the Internet or that site.

I think the router is fine, the problem is when i download things(such as updates) onto my ps3. When the router is connected to my computer the wired speed is perfect, the problem is when I download something to my ps3. The download begins, but it takes very long, however, when I reboot the router, the download speed on the ps3 is much higher. So basically it is the PS3 that experiences the wireless speed problems.
