USB Playback - Stop/Start

Hey,

When using my DSM wired or wirelessly i can play things back with no problems, But when i put an Avi or MPEG2 file into a USB 2.0 Pen drive i get it stopping and starting every 10/15 seconds, I have tried several USB Pen drives and still the error is there, I would use the wireless or wired connection but its used in a room that is out of range, Any Ideas?
