This morning on a hunch I decided to reflash my router with the 1.12 firmware.  Once completed, the power went out while I was flashing but my network gear is on an apc  ;D I rebooted my pc then using ie7 I went back to the site and it loaded fine w/o issue.

Seems just like a general bad flash then.  It happens, and it can even happen when you try and restore your settings from a previous firmware.  Keep in mind, the gateway settings can get corrupted as well, even when saving.  Have seen it a few times.  But, I would actually still consider it a bug per-se, because of a possible corrupted gateway settings.

I can't even manage to reproduce this.  What OS are you using? XP or Vista?

Vista ultimate x64 but even home premium x64 will do it using ie7.  Firefox has no problem loading the page.

I've run it on several OS's, including OS X.

Vista Ultimate X64, XP Home SP3, XP Pro SP3 as well.

Still can't produce it.  It's gotta be something on your end.

Yeah the something on my end is the effin router.  I flashed to the 1.13 beta this morning and will check it in a couple of hours to see if it will not reboot when loading that page with ie7.  I will say that all 3 of my pc's currently in use run off nvidia 780i sli chipsets however my nf4 system has not been connected to the network so I can't say whether or not it produces the problem.

Funny you say that.  It's not the chipset.  My desktop uses an eVGA 780i also, and I've also got a 680i here as well.  Both work flawlessly when trying to load that page.  Laptop still does it fine, and so does this MBP I'm on.

What anti virus are you running if any at all?  This includes firewall programs, etc.

Its got to be a piece of software which causes it to crash, which isn't so uncommon.  A few years back my mother was able to crash my WRT54GS router with Zone Alarm.  So...

Not to be rude but I've been using pc's for a very long time, building them and configuring them so this is not new to me.  The only common pieces on my network are the router and the hp procurve switch.  If we use firefox the problem doesn't happen, hell even google chrome won't crash it however netscape has problems loading it.  Ie7 was the only browser on our machines to crash the router.  Two machines have mcaffee and one has norton 360.  This is a hardware problem with the router and I am not alone with it as there are several people complaining about the same problem.  Also the 1.13 firmware has not rebooted even with using ie7 so far but I'm not going to hold my breath until several days of use have passed.

Lycan my s/n is F30B17C006911 purchased from best buy on 8-6-08.  If you think it would be helpful I can provide you with a copy of my settings file.  I would really like to get this problem resolved.  Also tonight I tried loading the page using ie7 from two different pc's which promptly crashed the router, google and firefox still load it w/o issue.
