Can you xbox 360 or psp or ps3 with DFL-210.Or do you have two use DGL-4500.Next Have tried out network cable version cat6 or cat7.

One DGL should work just fine with multiple XboX's. The DFL product is a business class firewall and not really intended for home use, especially with things like online gaming.

if you plan to use the DFL firewall with the DGL router, you can connect the router with the xbox or any other gaming console while you need to forward the port on the firewall that is you have to create a SAT rule on the firewall(and an allow rule ) for the proper ports that are required to connect to microsoft XBOX live etc.

But you have to make sure which port will be re quired for the same.

Thats not going to work well. The XboX expects the NAT to be UPnP compliant for voice chat and whatnot. DFL is no UPnP plus you're talking about a double nat situation which is never good.

you dont need to do the double NAT .

Disable the DHCP server on the DGL router and dont use the WAN port on the router instead use the LAN port with the DFL which will make the  DGL router act like a wireless switch to use with XBOX.

While regarding the UPNP you can get the exact number of ports that are required by the console from Micossoft and forward the same on the DFL and get connected .

This will make a be a wastage of gaming lounge but since you already have it you will be able to use it .

This doesn't work. I've tried it. Voice chat fails to function properly and things like Parties do not work at all.
