Do you experience the echo with internal calls only or both (incoming and outgoing calls)?

Hello,
Sorry for the inconvenience. Please access the link below for instructions on how to solve the static issue.

I am hoping that I am not the only person experiencing this problem.

I had a telco company come out today and verify that the PSTN lines are clear as possible.  They are.  However, I have spent a good amount of time today adjusting the RX and TX volume levels as indicated in the support document above.  However, when I do get the setting to work to where echo and noise is completely gone, my system can no longer make outgoing phone calls.

These are the noisiest phones that I have ever dealt with.  Would it have anything to do with grounding in the building?  The static noise is just too unbearable.

Looks like we are not the only company dealing with this issue with these phones.

I'm having this issue as well. I tried adjusting the RX and TX volume settings but still getting a lot of noise on the line. We ran dedicated ethernet lines to the phones but it didn't help the noise and voice quality on outbound calls. Internally voice quality is fine.

Can someone explain what the number quantity that you assign in the TX and RX mean?  In other words, what significance does a 6 or 7 or 8 or 0 or whatever mean?  This would help with the fine tuning.

And in addition, my client is using SIP trunks so how would this apply or does it?  They are experiencing random static and echo which is really causing call clarity issues.

Thanks in advance.

For those using Analog lines, please log into the DVG-3104MS and change the codec from G.729 to G.711U-law. Please do the same thing on all the DPH-125MS phones. For SIP trunk users, please configure QoS on your firewall (router) and Switches as well.
