Hardware revisions: A1, A2, A3?
« on: April 07, 2009, 11:20:20 AM »

I just bought my DNS-321 less than a week ago and it is a hardware revision of A2.  Now I see that someone else is reporting that their DNS-321 is a hardware revision A3.  What is the difference between the revisions (like release notes for firmware)?  Were the changes to reduce costs, improve reliability, improve performance, or something else?  If the change was to address a shortcoming, is it possible to get information on the change?

There is no A3, A2 I believe was an LED change.

Okay, thanks.  I was going by this message on the beta side from someone who claimed to have version A3 hardware:

Maybe that was just a typo.

Changed LED from three colors LED(4 pin) to single color LED(2 pin)

It only concerns the main Blue bar that lights up. Since there is no other colors used we opted for a single color LED.
