Router locks up when dl'ing torrent (setup includes DGS-2205)

This problem only happens when the computer dl'ing a torrent is behind the switch, but since there is not thread option for the switch I'm hoping someone can help me here.

It doesn't happen until after a few minutes of starting a download, but when it does the router becomes unresponsive to all devices connected via Ethernet ports.  Anything connected via the wireless doesn't seem to be affected.  If I connect the computer directly to the router then everything works fine.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
