localized firmware
« on: January 09, 2009, 10:29:44 AM »

Hi there, i am thinking about buying a DNS-323, and have been looking at this forum for some time, and have understood that there are different firmwares for different countries, so my question is this: when are a danish localized firmware going to be released, and out of curiosity, is it a strictly danish firmware there will be released, or is it part of a "Nordic/European" firmware?.

anyway, another thing i have noticed, is that the danish site (www.dlink.dk) is slightly broken, as it is linking to the 1.04 firmware twice, and if you go to the ftp-site the links refer to, you can find the 1.05 firmware. ( ftp://ftp.dlink.se/Products/dns-products/dns-323/drivers_firmware/ )

beyond that, The Easy Search util is version 3.8.0.0 on the page, but you can get version 4.2.0.0 on the ftp.

below is a direct link to the broken page.
(http://www.dlink.dk/cs/Satellite?c=TechSupport_C&childpagename=DLinkEurope-DK%2FDLTechProduct&cid=1197319419773&p=1197318959018&packedargs=locale%3D1195806935729&pagename=DLinkEurope-DK%2FDLWrapper

And yes i could contact D-Link in Denmark, but seriously, if they donīt have there act together on the things i mentioned in this post, the chance for them being able to answer my questions, is like the chance for winning the state lottery.

TIA,

Nighthawk

Unfortunately these are all questions I would have no idea about.  You are going to have to get a hold of D-Link Denmark.
