Mapping drives
« on: January 13, 2009, 08:12:28 AM »

Every time I reboot Vista, the drives I had previously mapped using the Easy Search Utility have to be remapped again.  Is this by design, or is there a trick to getting these mappings to stick after reboot?

No need to use the "Easy Search Utility".
All you have to do is to map your drive by using the "Map Network Drive" feature in the Vista File Explorer.
You'll be asked whether you want Vista to remap that drive each time it starts up.

Now why didn't I think of that!  Thanks!
