Missing security tab on mapped drive and can't play video file
« on: February 25, 2011, 05:38:07 AM »

Hi i have windows 7 ultimate x64 with DNS-323 FW 1.09 with fonz_plug and connected to a ASUS RT-N16 runnung tomato.

When i map the network drive it maps fine but i cannot play any audio/video file from the drive because it says file not found although i can see the file and copy it over to my computer. i can however access the file by going directly to the folder via the Network Places and play the files through there. the security tab on the network drive's properties is missing. not sure if this has something to do with it. any suggestions? i've tried searching everywhere and can't find an answer.

Tried net use and it shows the drive mapped

Also the mapped drive shows up as ADVirtualDisk - because of Adobe CS4? thanks!!

Figured it out. It has to do with Adobe CS4 virtual drive. Solution is here: http://forum.dsmg600.info/viewtopic.php?id=3397

goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2 and delete the ADVirtualDisk entry and uninstall the virtual disk under Adobe CS4!!
