Dir-655 and rssi

hi

I see that my rssi is -47 DB
all the other routers  in the neighborhood have a round the -90 DB
why did I have so a high db

the router is in the bedroom and in the leving room i have a very poor connection

This might be due to placement of the router in your house.
Materials that your house is made of.
Wireless mode you are using. Mixed vs single or mixed G and N.
Distance from the router to the connected device.
