How to Find TX Rate (Transmission Rate) for D-Link Routers
« on: April 11, 2011, 02:27:29 PM »

Here we got Nintendo's support for some D-Link routers: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/routers/DLink/all.jsp

My D-Link router is DIR-615 and one of those instructions on Nintendo's Support is to chance the TX Rate (Transmission Rate) to the value "2". However I can't find this option, even when I use the Nintendo's Important Note on the right.

If anyone knows how I can activate this option or the location for it, please, help me. I am trying to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to play Pokémon White.

Thanks.

Ooh, tricky. Found it though

Setup > Wireless > Manual Wireless Configuration Set up > ALT + V > Style > No Style

I think they are talking about setting the MSC to 2, or maybe the Spartial Streams. I cant see them talking about the Max Transfer Rate, because that would handicap your entire network pretty severely.
