Encripted files XLS

I haave some "rare" problem, on DNS323 first hard drive was used to restricted users, and the other one was public users. Actually when one user open an XLS from another user (first harddisk restricted), he can't open, need open with the original user, save on his own pc and then move to DNS323.
Someone know why? and how to solve?
