Security & F/W update
« on: April 26, 2011, 06:44:43 PM »

I have DIR-615  h/w: c1   f/w:3.01.  I can't figure how to install security or f/w update through my imac.
Do I need to use a cable connection?

If your doing a FW updated, then yes, always use a wired connection for doing FW updates.
There a reason for doing this?
Are you trying to set router and WiFi security? You don't have to be wired for this. You can connect wirelessly to the routers web page and set it all up.
