I own a DIR-600 Router that I bought recently. I used it to provide internet connection at our home. 2 PCs (Laptops) are mainly used in our house, the first one is my laptop is an ASUS k-Series that has a Dual Core Processor and 1GB of Memory, while the other one is Lenovo Ideapad that has a i3 processor and 2GB of Memory.Everytime the two connect to the internet,the Lenovo gets faster internet connection, while the ASUS usually needs to be refreshed just to connect to a website.

how can i configure the router to provide more internet connection to the ASUS laptop?

and what are the things that affect the laptops internet connection? besides the distance,obstructions, does the PC's specifications also affects it internet connection?
