Shareport Utility Down
« on: May 10, 2011, 06:20:22 PM »

The Shareport Ulitity says there are no devices available when I plug my external hard drive in. Everything else works with the router except this function.

I was looking us help resources and I came across this statement:

"To add the SharePort utility a firewall exception, make sure to add both the SharePort executable file, as well as the following network ports:

TCP IN 19540
TCP OUT 19540
UDP IN 19540
UDP OUT 19540"

How do I add these files to the firewall exceptions?

These aren't files. These are IP ports. Your firewall or HELP documentation should be able to tell you how to add exceptions.
