Last night i first time tried the box, using crossing cable connected to my Laptop (Thinkpad T60), and i only got 100M connection speed; further more, i went into the GUI and check the network configuration portion, i found the port speed was set to auto, but the 1G is in gray color.

any one knows this??? ??? ???

Does your laptop support 1gb? Was the cable you used cat5e? portion is greyed out unless connected at 1gb.

What grade is the cross-cable? Need at least cat-5e for 1 gigabits connection to work.

I don't think the supplied cable is a cross over cable ??
