Added second drive - lost bit torrent access.
« on: June 03, 2011, 08:00:25 AM »

So I posted a couple of days ago about adding a second drive. I installed my new 2tb drive with out any issues.

Everything seems to be working fine but I did notice 1 or 2 things.

My old drive is now named Volume_2 when is use to be Volume_1, not really a big deal... is it possible to rename the drives to whatever i want?

The other thing I notice is I no longer have access to the Bit Torrent manager in the admin section.
When I log into the Applications side of my DNS admin I only have options for Schedule Download. Before I added in the second drive I was able to access the Bit Torrent manager form here. Any thoughts on how I go about getting it back?

Unfortunately no. The volume name is tied to the HDD slot number and the DNS-323 does not support renaming root volumes.

Sure, you can rename the share names to whatever you wish. I'm using firmware 1.08.
Just delete the shares and recreate them.
