I been having a problem where my router will not save any port information I enter in. Once I save and reboot, the information is erased.
I've tried all reset methods, I've tried all firmware from 3.04 up, and nothing helps.
I did get it work fine at one point, it was when I didn't have my ISP modem plugged in, and once I plugged in the modem and had an internet connection it erased the information on me.
It will also work when I enable the securespot services, but I do not use the securespot services, and my account is inactive with them. I have also called securespot to make sure the account wasn't conflicting with the modem in some way, and it's not.
Now that I have it semi-working and saving the infomation I opened the ports I need for XBOX Live, TCP/UDP 3074, and TCP 88. It will not let me connect to XBOX live unless I remove the UDP 3074 from the port forwarding. I know both TCP and UDP are needed.
I have also tried other settings, such as firewall endpoint independent, dmz zone, uPNP enabled/disabled.
Anyone help me out? Long story short, the router can't seem to set the port information the way it needs to be.
Right now I'm going to try 3.06 F/W and see if that helps any, and if it don't I'm going to try 3.04 which is factory. So anyone who thinks they can help please bookmark this post and check back in a bit.
