Logging In
« on: August 20, 2011, 10:14:44 PM »

Hi, I have been trying for about a week now to find a way to log into my DIR-655 via the website.  I typed in 192.168.0.1 (default ip) and got to the log in screen, but after using Username: "Admin" and Password: "" [blank] and typing in the graphic encoding, it says invalid password.  Please help because there are settings I would like to change via online log in (portforwarding, etc.)
Thanks in Advance!

What browser are you using? Has the router been set up before or is this out of  the box new?
Try a different browser to test.

He used blank for the password.  "Password" is what appears on the log in screen.  Try pressing the reset button on back and then logging in, the password may have been changed and pressing the reset button will put the router back to defaults inclusing the blank password.
