slow transfer speeds

i have set the speed to 1000 and my pc uses gigabyte ethernet too. i have a 2TB seagate green 5900rpm sata 6gb. when i put files into the 323, the max speed is around 13-15 mb

Slow transfer speed is probably the most discussed topic in this forum - search - there are lots of discussions on it.

RAID1 is for disk redundancy - NOT data backup - don't confuse the two.
