Intermittent web connection loss

 Out of no wear my router Gives me disconnected from internet  errors.  The only thing that cures it Eliminate the router. Witch is a giant pain!!! My son doesn’t have id 369, and I lose some gaming sped on my toaster of computer. Any help would be GREAT!!!!!! Oh, and the router is 5 days over one moth old.     >:(
