Hi,

Anonymous access to shares will still play if you upgrade from 1.07 to 1.08 as long as you do not change your users list. If you happen to add/remove a user the nas will apply the 1.08 rules and will not allow you access shares without a username/password.

The only solution backwards is downgrade to 1.07.
