Hi all,
no one in the DNS 343 seems to recognise the issues that I am receiving so I was suggested to post here as essentially the DNS 323 and 343 are very much the same.
I received an error message \\NAS IP\Folder on NAS is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network.
I checked network access settings which were set to all users have full/read/write.
was unable to change security settings (right click properties of folder) and set 'everyone' full control so I updated the firmware to the latest 1.05 beta which then allowed me to change security settings which is exactly what I did and I was then able to access the shared folders. however in network access I was unable to add more shared folders or remove any.
Unable to enable or disable NFS (apply button greyed out)
Unable to browse for more shared folders (browse button greyed out)
deleting shared folders (would not delete even though you select delete and then ok)
restored factory settings and downgraded firmware to 1.04- still unable to select any options in network access - any ideas?
