Hi everyone,
If I use softwares such as GoodSync, and SuperCopier to put big files into my NAS, the files are either corrupted or lenght size 0. Using torrent software to download big files have the same effect.
I have had the same problem for a while. My iTunes library is in the NAS. I copy a movie file (300-700MB) with windows explorer to the iTunes video library folder in the NAS, then add the movie to the iTunes library. All Ok so far. Then I try to add an illustration to the movie, using the proper tab in the iTunes properties file window, and after I click Ok, the file gets corrupted. Almost always the file size remains the same (or small change) , some other times it goes to 0 bytes (I've seen this only once).
It is important to notice that when I started using the NAS, back in August 2011, this problem did not exist. It started to happen some months later, but I am not sure exactly when it started, or the origin ( I mean, Windows 7, iTunes or NAS Firmware).
Also is important to notice your mention about the file size. Music files, which are smaller, are not corrupted when illustratrion is added or modified.
I had already posted this problem before, without result.
Hope somebody may help this time.
