DNS-323 - Win7 can see Drive but not browse afer shareport addon installed

I KNEW I shouldn't have messed around with my DNS-323. It was working fine. It started when I was going to add my external drive to act as a backup for my RAID mirrored array. I installed sharport utility and the add-on package. Afterwards I was unable to view the contents of the drive unless I logged in from another XP box I have on the network.

Strange as hell. I uninstalled the SHRED... I mean utility and reset the system settings and preto the box is now accessible to all.

(I still cannot network browse the DNS-323 from any computer without first knowing in advance the IP address. LLTD is installed/enabled on DNS-323. This is true for all my computers on the network Vista/Win 7/XPSP3) *sigh*
