DFL-160 - unable to connect VPN
« on: October 21, 2011, 01:16:10 AM »

Hi
I've been tying for the last few days to configure inbound VPN on a DFL-160 but I keep getting the following error when trying to connect:

Error 691: The remote connection was denied because the username
and password combination you provided is not recognized, or the selected
authentication protocol is not permitted on the remote access server.

Have tried to configure PPTP and L2TP on the DFL-160, but get same error with both.
Client running Windows 7
Username and passwords are correct.
Tried with Windows Firewall on or off, no effect.

Any sugestions ?

Thanks
Eivind

Set your client to use encrypting as optional.
What is in your logs at connection moment?
