Wireless Won't Start
« on: February 11, 2009, 12:22:33 PM »

Hello All,  I tried to start up my wireless signal, and instead of starting up the router just reboots, goes to the login page, and when I login and check the wireless nothing has changed,, and everything is greyed out that has to do with wireless, in all the fields in the admin pages.   I haven't tried a re-set yet, but a re-boot does not fix the problem.  I don't ever remember seeing the wireless fields greyed out weather active or not. Actually any thing you try to do or change wont work, as soon as you hit the save settings button, the connection is lost and it takes you back to the login page.   Please Help!!??

Yea, the WAN works fine, and I have had this router for about 6 mos. I turn the wireless off and on as needed, but something went wrong i guess, it is up and running now, but I had to do a factory re-set. I really like this router, and have had no problems in the past. I just wonder if this is a sign something is going bad, or just a fluke. There have been no changes made anywhere in the LAN of 3 computers, and 3 cameras, and everything is hardwired except one computer that I use both ways.  One thing though, my firmware is dated 10/09/08   1.21        but the firmware on D-Links site is dated  9/30, and 12/12 08   im not sure why its different.   Any thoughts about the sudden problem would be helpful.  Thanks Brent ;)
