p2p not working
« on: December 02, 2011, 10:15:30 PM »

Hi all,

I have my DNS-320 set up with the 2.02 firmware using a pair of 3TB WD Green HDDs in mirror (RAID1). I've only had the NAS for a week, and I've had P2P working a couple of times (downloaded a few GB of stuff each time) but for some reason it just seems to stop working after a couple of days... and I can't get it going again.

I've set up my P2P to use a custom port. The same port is exposed via my router using NAT (unneccessary?). I've tried a few things to get it working again, but nothing is working. I've restarted the DNS320, restarted the router, deleted all torrents using the DNS320 webUI and added a single active torrent (one with lots of seeds) but the only sign of life I get from the P2P on the DNS320 is that it appears to upload at 0.1KBps, but then it just sits there with no activity. I've left it overnight, attempted to re-start the torrents, disabled and re-enabled P2P via the web UI... but nothing works.

Can anyone suggest a way of fixing the built-in P2P?
Are there more detailed logs that are accessible some other way than the UI?

It has decided to start working again.
