Unable to use DIR-412 in Guatemala
« on: October 15, 2011, 12:07:40 AM »

I bought this 3G router in amazon.com assuming that it'll work in Guatemala but when I connect the 3G modem, the Internet LED always stays in orange, not green, so, no Internet access.

I tried to update the firmware that I got in d-link's latinamerica site but when try to upload it, the webapp that configures the router says the firmware not valid....

I'm really frustrated with this, any pointers that anyone can give me?  Did I just lost my money?  >:(

Thank you

Hi,
have you found some solution for this problem? we got the same problem in Uruguay
with this US version DIR-412, sometimes it connects to internet, but most of the time
it doesn't, see my post here for details.

Any info will be much appreciated
