Upnp server
« on: January 08, 2010, 08:48:10 AM »

If i setup my 323 with standard volumes and activate the upnp server can you specify both drives for it to catalog.  I was thinking of putting in 2 x 1tb drives, one with photo's and one with video's but want to be able to stream from both of them to my ps3 or dsm-750.  I can't put them on the same drive as i have to many so that's not an option.

i can run any firmware that will support it.

Thanks in advance.

Actually this prompted me to ask a question I have been meaning to ask. Will soft links do the trick? Can we just soft link the media files in the 2nd disk and have them magically served up by the Upnp server? Sounds too easy so am not sure it will work. Has anyone tried this?

What upnp server does the DNS-323 use? Is it twonky because I can't get to it via port 9050.
