I use a Range Booster DIR 628 on my home network. I have 2 desktop PCs (connected via ethernet cable) and a laptop connected via wifi. All 3 PC's run Windows XP. I also have a Seagate Goflex 1.5 TB usb hard drive connected to the DIR 628 router. All 3 machines have Shareport 1.1.0 installed and all can access the hard drive.
I have added a Acer netbook connected wirelessly to the network. It is running Windows 7. I downloaded Shareport 1.14 onto the netbook. However, Shareport does not detect the hard drive when using the netbook. I get a message about "no usb devices being detected". What gives? Is this a problem with Windows 7?
Please help.
