Samba or NFS access
« on: February 24, 2009, 12:57:26 PM »

Anybody know how to set this unit up for Samba and/or NFS access by the Dvico (Tvix) 4000 or 5000 media units?

You're not going to get NFS access as the unit does not use NFS.  It does use SMB however so samba should not be an issue.
I know nothing of this other device you speak of though so I can't offer anything more than that.

Yes, it can be accessed from the Tvix 4000 and 5000 using "Samba" as the DNS-321 supports smb.
The file share in my case was "Volume_1".

SMB/Samba is very slow!
