On a DNS-320:

Is it possible to play media files with a subtitle (*.srt)  ??? ??? ???

Last modification date of this msg: 4 dec 2011: I Have Firmware 2.02 date 09/23/2011.
Can't downgrade to version 2.00, gives a error on firmware number !!...

Was no problem with the firmware 2.0. You could simply browse the share and play files with srt on a mediaplayer (f.i. Zyxel or WD HD). Since the new update this doesn't work anymore. On DLNA with this DNS-320 it's not possible (also no ifo files so no DVD files).

If you didn't update above 2.00 yet. stay on your current version !!!

Only caveat to staying on version 2.0 is that you don't gain the alphabetical sorting of media which was fixed in 2.02. If you have a large collection the media ordering can be important.  The subtitle issue is on our bug/wish list.
