check the cabling between the ISP modem and router. Ya, it's not getting any thing from the ISP modem so there is an issue in the cable or the modem itself. If your modem is set up as a host router as well, the you should be betting a 192.168 address string. It's preferred to bridge the modem if you can and let the 600 router act as the host. I would contact the ISP and see if you can bridge the modem. Most ISPs will do this. Be sure you are connecting the cable between the ISP modem and 600 router correctly. The Cable should be connected to the WAN port on the back of the 600 router. The other end should be connected to the LAN port or what ever port you have available that the ISP says to connect a router too. I would call them up and ask for help with there modem. let us know what goes on.

i've already posted a screenie that my MODEM is Bridging. The fact is. I have internet connection. I have my cables from modem to router setup correctly.

The ONLY problem why i'm posting is. My router acts so stupidly as to not recognize internet connection when the modem is turned on late. It's a given that the first few seconds or minutes may not have internet because the modems internet hasn't loaded. But when it has! the router can't detect it! that's it. There'll be just an orange light on the Internet Icon of the router. Even if i leave it for days it'll still be so dumb as to not recognize the internet! SO I HAVE TO KILL MY ROUTER AND START IT UP AGAIN just for it to work properly.

which isn't supposed to be happening am i correct?

You have to power everything off, then power on the Modem first and let it sync, then power on the router. If the modem is in bridged mode, then you need to set up the DSL PPPoE account information under Setup/Internet/Manual and make sure the DSL account information is correct. On the PPPoE selection menu, make suer ALWAYS ON is enabled. Save the settings and power down everything once more. Power ON the modem, let it sync. then power on the router. Check the status of the connection under Status/Device Info/Wan section. There should be IP addressing information here or it might say connecting.
