Try this if you have issues with Shareport

Since Shareport needs a network to be in place before startup, the delay in getting the network started up may frustrate the Shareport drivers. You could try this free tool to have Shareport started with a delay: http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?page=2&show=startdelay&PHPSESSID=e7ba8dcc37d8a2c24e710d24a70db0ff

Hmm. havnt taken a deep look with shareport, but could one not just delay the service from starting in the services management console? Or is it just an application without installing a service?

There's no service description I know of. This is the easiest way.
