UB printer not working DIR-655
« on: January 10, 2012, 09:35:15 AM »

im trying to set up my printer using the USB port on the router. i installed the share-port utility  32bit and every time i try to connect to the printer from my desktop the computer crashes and i get a blue screen. any1 know a solution?
Im running windows 7 Ultimate 32bit SP1 with norton security suite.
i get the following errors when i check my event log.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xc0000005, 0x00000000, 0x8e513744, 0x8e513320). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 010912-18813-02.

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

just looked at the event log im getting this The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

FYI:  This is also posted in the DIR-655 forum.

The printer is an HP 5610v.

What is the printer driver version?
