My computer died and needed to reinstall windows 7 which had everything working.
I set up a static ip address with port 8080.  I can see the video feed on the mydlink website and on my iphone. But when I go to the ViewCam software it tells me that the camera can't connect.

I'm frustrated.  It was fairly simple the first time I did it yet now it is telling me that I can't connect.
I'd like to record using my dlink 932L so this is killing me why it won't connect.

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I am having the same problem as well when using the latest camera setup wizard.

I don't run into this using the older setup wizard that came on the CD with my camera (930L), but when it goes to register the camera with mydlink.com, registration is rejected and indicates newer setup wizard is needed.

Camera is working fine when I connect to it directly.

Problem solved on my machine by enabling Active X  in Internet Explorer security settings for both "Local Intranet" and "Internet".  The instructions that I had only mentioned the "Internet" tab.
