I just remembered that I can use my external hd on the router so I plugged it in expecting difficulties getting it started but i've tried all the suggestions on the forum with no luck.
I'm trying to connect my 500gb Seagate freeagent hard drive, self powered, to the network through the usb port.
I've tried shareport 1.14, 1.17, and 3.0 but none of them see the hard drive or the router. I thought it might be a size limit as some have suggested but I tried to plug in a usb jump drive and still no luck.
Running windows vista ultimate sp2, wireless a/g/n connection to router.
I've also tried checking in broadcast addresses with no luck.
Any help? Is shareport not compatible with the FW 2.06??
