Raid (1) keeps syncing!
« on: November 11, 2011, 01:34:23 PM »

I recently bought a 325 two weeks ago and since then the syncing keeps cycling over and over. I believe that will decrease the lifetime of the drives so if anyone has an idea to make it stop, please help. I get the standard "HDD Data Is Syncing Now" in disk management and blinking lights on the front of the box.

Have you scanned the disks for errors?  Sounds like one of your disks may have some bad sectors or data.

Scan disk said everything was fine... SMRT Test is currently listing 2 Right slot drives. Will post update soon, just seems ridiculous that the drive would fail day one but who knows.
