Ok here is my prob ... I have a drl615 set up in my house and I have a drl601 I would like to set up in my shop out in the back yard .... The shop is not wired for Internet so wifi to wifi would work awesome but I just don't know if i can with these ..... If possible a step by step for dumbies would be cool ... Seeing I am not all that smart with this stuff ..... (shop computer is a old iMac g4 ) and I can't use a USB wifi on it with out a lot of bs that just has not worked well or if it did the signal was not strong .... And seeing I was given the drl601 I am hoping it will work ...... Thanks for any help you can give.

Don't think DLink as any models like that. 

However you'll need to run a LAN wire out to the garage if you want to turn one of these routers in to and AP.

Sorry about that you are right there dir601 and dir615      ... As for running Internet out to the shop would really suck

The only way to run these would be to run a LAN wired to the shop and set one of them up as an AP.
