Help! Cannot connect Wii to wireless network.
« on: January 11, 2009, 09:32:08 PM »

I have the dlink DIR 615 version b router and I cannot get my wii to connect to the wireless network. I have no problem connecting my laptops to the network but I've tried connecting my wii and my wireless printer to the network and am having no luck! They both find the access point but can't connect. I have the latest firmware. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Does changing your SSID help your devices find the wireless network?   (Make sure you are broadcasting your SSID, too).

If this helps, it's because their previously saved settings were not correct.

I have a wii and rev A1 and it took me a couple of times. Try changing your channel and checking your port forwarding settings.
