Issue with Playing Video Files from DNS-323?
« on: March 19, 2009, 01:20:08 PM »

I am having issues with Windows Media Player playing any files on the DNS-323.  If I move any of the videos to my PC HD, they will play fine.  If I try to play the exact same video on the DNS-323, I get an error:  "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file.  For additional assistance, click Web Help.".

Any ideas?? I have reformated the drive and tried setting it up all over agan.

I can play the video by accessing the drive thru the Network folder in Vista's Windows Explorer, but not when the DNS 323 is mapped..interesting.
