Automatic Backup for DFL
« on: March 16, 2011, 07:28:58 AM »

Hi all,

Do you know if the possibility of backup configuration of Firewall automatically on a FTP or SMB location is planned?

I see this topic:"New scenario: Automatic backup" but it's pretty old and we have no news about this.

I think it's a very useful functionality and will be very appreciated in case of device failure.

What do you think about this?

Thanks!

Sorry for my uggly English...

As far as I'm aware there is no auto backup of the configuration of the DFL.

create a batch file to do it for you and start it up in taskmgr and let it run once weekly .

Script command can unload config as text file, but currently it lose disabled objects

If you want full backup, use wget/curl on your batch
