Web file server does not move files?
« on: May 23, 2012, 04:44:39 AM »

I recently upgraded from fw 2.0 to fw 2.03b01 and I noticed that my P2P folder was no longer visible as a folder in Volume 2 (I set my P2P client to download in Volume 2 because I assigned it a bigger quota).
With fw 2.0, I had no problem to move files from the P2P subfolder to another subfolder (i.e. Movies) within Volume 2. The files, no matter their size, were moved in a breeze.

Now, I had to map the P2P folder in order to see it in Windows explorer. But, since it is a different drive, moving files takes a long time.

So, after upgrading, I started to play with the web file server and from there I could see my P2P folder as a subfolder in Volume. So I tried to move a movie from the P2P folder to the "movies" folder, being both in Volume 2. When I checked the movies folder, I noticed that the subtitle file had been copied (not moved, since there was still a copy in the P2P folder) and the movie file was there with 0 bytes. The movie file was neither moved, since the complete file was still in the P2P folder.

Since the web file browser allows to move and copy files, even doing drag & drop as in windows explorer, I wonder whether this is a bug or if I can do anything to fix it.

I have also installed fun_plug. Is there a package that can be used to move and copy files that can also "see" the P2P folder as the web file browser does? I mean, not with command line, but with a user-friendly GUI that allows drag & drop.
