655 and Torrents
« on: May 26, 2012, 08:00:38 PM »

Tried doing a little searching, but could not find any in depth answers.

I JUST got this router. For the longest time, I have been using the DGL-4100 ( Rock solid for years )
One of the things I noticed in the description of the 4100, is the "oversized NAT table" .. Better for torrents?

So, upon using the 655, after a solid day of heavy torrenting, I had to reboot it. Next day same thing. 3rd day, no torrents. It was fine for the entire day.

Are there any tricks to get this 655 to be solid for torrenting like my old 4100?
If not, what wireless product does D-Link make now that can support many concurrent connections without having a heart attack? I could have 20 torrents open at once with the 4100 and it would not die!

Thanks in advance for any feedback :)
