Hello to everyone, first of all I apologize for my bad English.
I've got a huge problem with two DAP-2590 APs, both of them are connected using WDS technology.
The APs are distant ~500 meters each other, so we are using two Antennas from TP-Link (model: TL-ANT5830B). The antennas are both connected with one cable on one connector of the Access Point, which is exactly the middle one.
The other two connectors are empty, because no antennas is connected on them, due to the fact they would be useless because we need long-range antennas. So that's why we chose to use the two TP-Link antennas.
However, the problem is that the connection isn't stable. We setup the WDS, everything looks fine until the connection, after some minutes of working well, it start to lag (increasing ping responses) and then they disconnect. After disconnecting, they can't see both each other anymore from "WDS Status", but after a while, they appear again and the connection comes up again between them.
And this happens over and over.
We also tried to change different settings, like channels, bandwidth, etc. But nothing solves the problem.
We upgraded the firmware to the latest version, which is the 1.25 according to the D-Link ftp.
What can cause this problem?
Could it be because of the DAP-2590 load balancing properties, so if the two main antennas doesn't have a good signal strenght, it switches to the other two antennas (which are empty) and then it loses the connection? (if it even has some function like this.)
Could it be also because of some interferences between the two APs? I get lots of PHY errors (500+ errors per refresh).
Thanks.
